Creative Byline is a Web 2.0-based online service that connects writers with editors at St. Martin's Press, Globe Pequot, Dutton Children's Books, and other non-fic and YA houses. (Full list of publishers
here.)
We've this month launched a new, Flash-enhanced front page that at once provides a comprehensive glance into the forms and genres desired by editors at our publishing clients, a list of our members' guilds, organizations, and former publishers, and quick links to information for writers and editors both via our retooled navbar.
Over at our blog,
Literary Magnet, our CEO Brad MacLean (who attended TOC this year) has begun a series of posts, beginning with
the fate of imprints, covering discussions and tangents he explored at the conference.
On our
Facebook page, we deal with writing craft, and post new articles written by published authors and discussions about the methods of and interviews with pillars of literature. Up 250 members in 2009 (to 450), our FB page grows every day.
We're excited about our place in a niche market and participating in the ongoing dialogue about the evolution of publishing in whatever medium. Peruse our website, and then come over to our blog, our FB page, or track us down on Twitter:
